 PDX has
been in business for better than ten years. The automotive industry has a wholesale
parts division in most of their car dealerships. This service requires the use of
deliveries to their customers. Our business is to fulfill this requirement. We broker
men and vehicles to replace the use of their own vehicles and manpower, along with
the normal backup support necessary to make this successful.
Because of the valuable service we provide in the local Philadelphia market, some
of our customers have asked us to open the North Jersey market. In December of 1997,
we did accomplish this.
As time passed, realizing the sensitive nature of the industry, we were once again
approached to broker pickups at distribution centers for some of our customers.
At that time, we began brokering pickups for our customers at the Ford
Regional Parts Distribution Center located in Teterboro, New Jersey. Again, we were
approached by Hyundai to broker same day service to their dealers within
New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Once more, we were approached to broker deliveries from
the Honda Distribution Center for Honda and Acura Dealers. For more than three years,
we have successfully provided this specialty service. Recently, we made
inroads into the "after market" industry, applying our expertise from what
we have learned from the wholesale portion of the business.
PDX's management has decades of experience. Frederick S. Frankel, the President
of PDX, has worked for his entire career in the trucking and distribution industry
and has personal experience in every facet of the business. Anthony Walburn who has
also been tirelessly involved in the transportation industry, working first as a
driver, then as Lead Manager, and currently as our Operations Manager. Recently
Michael Frankel has joined our organization, helping to strengthen our administrative
side, insuring proper control of customer pricing and cost control. When we opened
up the New England market we hired Charles Dooley to give good management presence
to our New England customers. Charles has availed himself in giving continuity to
our New England customers. One of our newest Vice Presidents, Joe Connolly, who has
been in the industry over the last ten years rounds off our management team to help
to guide the company when challenges arise. PDX is a company founded on relationships
